RiverView Philanthropy Day, Health Fair Nov. 17 (Crookston Daily Times)

On Monday, Nov. 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., RiverView Foundation and KROX Radio will be teaming up for RiverView's Fifth Annual Philanthropy Day and Health Fair. KROX Radio will be live on site promoting RiverView Health services and RiverView Foundation's role in the enhancement of those services.

This guy is “doing it”…

I got a lot of my schooling in jazz (I'm also a jazz pianist) from drummer Maurice Carnes in his basement in Wellston - famously known here in St. Louis as "The Jazz Lab" (by the way, Maurice played drums on one of the tracks of Marcus Roberts' landmark album "Deep In the Shed"). When I started getting my first local jazz gigs he would say to me "Paul Schlegel is doing it!" - meaning not just hanging around in the basement - but out there actually doing something. Why am I thinking about that
